Police searching for Papa Murphy's robber

MONONA, Wis. (WMTV) -- Monona police are looking for a man in connection to a reported robbery on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

An approximately 30-year-old man was reported wearing a black mask and grey hooded sweatshirt when he entered Papa Murphy's Pizza Restaurant on 115 E. Broadway at 7:25 p.m., according to the Monona Police Department.

When the man entered the restaurant, no other customers were present. The suspect threatened to harm the lone employee if he did not give him all the money from the cash register.

The suspect implied he had a weapon, but no weapon was displayed. The employee gave the suspect cash from the register, then the suspect left the store on foot,

He was last seen heading east towards Roselawn Avenue. The area was searched to no avail.
