Poynette high school alumna takes part in flyover on inauguration day
POYNETTE, Wis. (POYNETTE PRESS)--- If you have been watching Friday’s inauguration events, keep your eyes peeled for Poynette High School graduate Zoe Kotnik, who is now a United States Air Force pilot.
She will be one of the pilots flying over the Capitol during the inauguration’s events. Kotnik will fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon within a four-ship formation which will also include the F-22 Raptor, the Joint Strike Fighter F-35 and the F-15 Strike Eagle. The flyover will be at approximately 4 p.m.
Kotnik graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2011. She is the daughter of Ron and Marilyn Kotnik of Poynette.
