MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)-- On Sunday, 85 Bucky Badger statues were setup around Dane County to prepare for the unveiling of ‘Bucky on Parade’.
The statues were first wrapped in plastic to prevent anything from happening to them during the move. Then with the help of moving company Two Men and A Truck, the statues were taken to their designated location.
While it was hard work to get the statues to where they needed to be, the moving crews were in high spirits. “Well I’m feeling pretty good, getting it done, not sore yet.” said one worker.
The statues are set to be unveiled at 11:00 a.m. on Monday throughout Madison and Dane County. They will also be on display all summer until September 12th.
