Protests end peacefully back at the Capitol after blocking traffic Wednesday night
Protests ended peacefully back at the Capitol Wednesday after traffic was blocked earlier in the night.
Around 9 p.m., about 100 protesters were marching in the area of South Park Street and West Washington Avenue in downtown Madison, calling attention to injustice in the black community. The Madison Police Department asked drivers to avoid the area at the time.
By midnight, the group had made it back in front of the Capitol, the spot of several protests over the past few weeks.
