SAUK COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV)--- Sauk County is working on updating its multi-jurisdictional hazard mitigation plan.
Jeffrey Jelinek, the Emergency Management Director, said the county prepared the plan back in 2005.
“Given the recent flooding in the county, now is a good time to ensure we create a plan to identify those things we can do to lessen the impacts of flooding, and other natural hazards,” said Jeff Jelinek, Sauk County Emergency Management Director. “We have been working with an advisory committee to update the plan, but now we’re asking the public to check out the plan and give us their feedback.”
