‘Random shooting’ leaves broken windows at Madison office building

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -- Police in Madison are investigating a Monday morning shooting.

The Madison Police Department said it happened at an office building in the 5200 block of Femrite Drive on the city’s southeast side.

Police received a report for shot out windows and siding just after 9:00 Monday morning.

Officers found bullet holes in the windows, siding and also found several spent casings.

Officers believe happened sometime overnight, and was likely random.
