MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Residents are allowed to return to an apartment building that partially collapsed in Madison last week.

RMK Management confirmed to NBC15 that most residents were allowed to return to the building in the 1200 block of McKenna Boulevard as of 5 p.m. Sunday.

A city building inspector approved reinforcements installed to make the building stable.

Last Monday the apartment building became unstable and a basement ceiling collapsed after contractors removed a load-bearing wall.
