Rock Co. to test tornado sirens starting 12 p.m. Wednesday

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Attention Rock County residents – expect tornado sirens to go off just after noon Wednesday.

The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says starting at 12:05 p.m., the sirens will be tested in 1-2 minutes durations.

In the event of an actual tornado warning, the sirens will sound for 3-5 minutes - warning residents to immediately take shelter and tune in to news organizations for updates, the sheriff’s office says.
