Law enforcement working around the clock to search for wanted gun store burglar

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV) -- Some people in Janesville say they are thankful for law enforcement working to keep them safe as they hunt continues for Joseph Jakubowski.

The FBI says they are working around the clock to locate the man wanted for burglarizing a gun store, stealing nearly 20 guns. They are also worried about the contents written in a 161 page manifesto, which includes grievances against government and personal angst towards anyone other than natural law or rule.

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WMTV)---A SWAT team investigated a residence near Eisenhower Avenue and Glen Street in Janesville Friday afternoon.

A neighbor tells NBC15 that the home has been vacant for some time.

Joseph Jakubowski’s home is nearby the scene.

The Commander of the Rock County Sheriff's Office said any leads they receive, this much security will be sent to the scene.
