MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)--- The victim of an alleged sexual assault that happened at East High School on April 10 tells police two boys took her backpack, luring her to a bathroom, where they both sexually assaulted her, according to a search warrant filed in Dane County Court.
According to court documents, the 15-year-old victim told police she and two 15-year-old boys were inside the school late that Wednesday afternoon. That’s when one of the boys asked the victim if she would have sex with him. The girl said she told him she had to leave and that her dad was coming to pick her up.
According to the court documents, the victim told police one of the boys took her backpack and ran up the stairs to a bathroom on the third floor. The girl told police she thought he was just “playing” so she ran after him.
When she got into the bathroom, one of the boys grabbed her shirt and pulled her towards him and put his lips and tongue on her neck, according to what the girl told police in the court documents. She said that’s when the other boy walked into the bathroom.
According to court documents, the victim told police both of the boys were blocking the door and pushed her further away from it. She said she started crying. She told police both of the boys sexually assaulted her in the bathroom after she told them she did not want to have sex with them.
Police viewed surveillance video from the area near the bathroom and say they saw the two boys enter and exit the bathroom, according to the court documents.
According to the court documents, the victim reported the assault to a school resource officer the next day. Police have collected DNA samples from one of the alleged assailants.
