Several vehicles damaged in Monona
MONONA, Wis. (WMTV)---Several vehicles were damaged in Monona early Friday morning.
According to the Monona Police Department, the vehicles had broken windows or slashed tires. Many unlocked vehicles also were riffled through. Change and keys were stolen. One of the unlocked vehicles was stolen from the area of Roselawn and Broadway, but it was found a short time later in the City of Madison near Broadway and South Towne.
Police said officers were called to a burglar alarm at Rutabaga Paddlesport on West Broadway around 3:15 a.m. Officers found several windows damaged, but there was no signs of entry.
They said surveillance video from the area showed a young male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and light colored pants in the area of Lottes Park around the time of these incidents. There was also someone riding a scooter in the same area. Photos of both are pictured above.
