MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) After a rare dry day on Monday, we are already tracking our next chance of wet weather. Tuesday puts us back at a "1-Low Impact" on our weather Impact Scale.
A decaying area of showers will move in early Tuesday morning. This will taper down to just an isolated shower during the afternoon. Rain totals will be light through most of the day.
More widespread shower and storm activity will redevelop Tuesday evening and into the overnight hours. This is when we could see some heavier downpours. Shower activity will taper off Wednesday morning.
Rainfall totals of a quarter to three quarters of an inch are possible Tuesday. Along with the rain, winds will pick up through the day gusting to 35 mph. Add in temperatures only into the 50s and it will not be a pleasant day to be outside.
