Six people arrested after disturbance and crash in Janesville

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) The Janesville Police Department says six people were arrested after a crash in Janesville Tuesday night. People involved in the crash were also linked at an earlier battery incident.

Police say they along with the Janesville Fire Department were dispatched to a crash on Afton Road and Falling Creek Circle around 9:30 p.m. A vehicle failed to yield while making a left-hand turn, crashing into a 26-year-old woman from Beloit. The woman was pinned inside her car after the collision and had to be taken to a hospital.

After the crash, several people got out of the suspect vehicle and drove away in a different vehicle. Officers were later able to locate that vehicle at the intersection of County Road D and South Indian Lake Drive.

Four people who were originally in the suspect vehicle were taken to local hospitals.

After investigating the crash, officers learned the suspect vehicle in the crash was involved in an earlier disturbance in the Falling Creek Village Condominiums, where a woman had been hit in the mouth with a hammer.

The Janesville Police Department say they arrested the following:

16-year-old Juvenile: Operating while suspended, Failure to Yield Right Away, Operating a motor vehicle without Insurance, Battery, and Disorderly Conduct

15-year-old Juvenile: Battery and Disorderly Conduct

28-year-old Samantha Guinter: Disorderly Conduct/Domestic Violence and Criminal Damage to Property Domestic Violence.

27-year-old Sergio Maciel: OWI (1st), Disorderly Conduct, 5 Warrants

35-year-old Tasha Sanger: Substantial Battery, Obstructing, Felony Bailjumping

22-year-old: Jamaious Shoulders: Parole Violation
