Snow covered roads causing commute troubles Tuesday morning

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) Snow continues to fall Tuesday morning, covering up he work plow crews have done on the roads overnight.

If you're going out on the roads this morning, be cautious especially on side streets and on ramps. Those are the last areas to be plowed.

Highway departments in Dane, Rock, Green, Sauk, and Columbia counties say their plows will be out throughout this morning commute, but it's going to be a messy and slow ride to work for most people.

The lanes on the beltline cannot be seen, all vehicles are driving significantly slower than normal.

NBC15 was out on the roads and did see several cars slide off the roads.
