Snow emergencies declared in viewing area

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)--- Another snowstorm is expected to hit southwestern Wisconsin Monday evening and Tuesday.

Snow emergencies are declared for the following area communities ahead of Monday's anticipated storm:

City of Beloit
It goes into effect at 10 p.m. on Monday through 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

Village Blue Mounds
It goes into effect from 5 p.m. on Monday through 7 a.m. on Wednesday. Any vehicle left on the streets are subject to being ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense. All even/odd side parking will be suspended during this time frame.

Village of Clinton
It goes into effect from 11 p.m. on Monday through 8 a.m. on Wednesday. No parking is allowed on village streets during this snow removal emergency. 24-hour parking is available in the municipal parking lot in the 200 block of Mill Street. Vehicles must be moved after 24 hours in the municipal parking Lot.

Village of Friendship
It goes into effect at 6 a.m. on Tuesday through 6 a.m. on Thursday.

City of Janesville
It goes into effect at 8 a.. on Tuesday. A snow emergency means that all parked vehicles must be removed from city streets and public parking lots until snow plowing operations are complete.

Village of Marshall
It begins at 10 p.m. on Monday, and it will run for 48 hours.

Village of McFarland
It goes into effect at 8 p.m. on Monday, and it will end at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.

Town of Middleton
It goes into effect at 7 p.m. on Monday. It will end at 7 a.m. on Wednesday. A snow emergency means that all vehicles must be moved off the street and there is no street parking for the duration of the snow emergency. The administrator is asking residents not to put out their garbage and recycling containers until the morning of their scheduled pick up during this snow emergency.

City of Monona
It goes into effect 9 p.m. on Monday until 7 p.. on Tuesday. During the snow emergency, do not park any vehicle on any street in Monona.

Village of Pardeeville
It begins at 9 p.m. on Monday and continues until noon on Wednesday. There is no parking on any village street when snow amounts reach three inches. Vehicles left on the streets can be ticketed or towed. Alternate-side parking will be suspended during the emergency.

City of Portage
It begins at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, and will remain in effect for 48 hours or until it is canceled by the street superintendent. In the central business district, parking is prohibited from 3 a.m. on Tuesday to 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

City of Stoughton
It goes into effect at midnight to 8 a.m. It will remain in effect until three consecutive midnight to 8 a.m. periods have elapsed or the emergency is canceled or extended.

City of Sun Prairie
It goes into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday through 4 p.m. on Wednesday or until it is canceled.

Watertown
It goes into effect at 11 p.m. on Monday. It will run for 48 hours. During the 48-hour period of the snow emergency parking on all city streets and alleys will be banned between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. the following morning.

Village of Arlington
Goes into affect 5:30 p.m. Monday until 10 p.m. Tuesday.
