Social Security income rising 1.6 percent, starting Jan. 2020

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)-- Social Security and Supplemental Security Income is rising 1.6 percent next year, according to a release Thursday.

The 1.6 percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) will become available for more than 63 million Social Security beneficiaries in January 2020.
