MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) After a stretch of mild weather, more typical January weather is slated to move in through the middle of the week. Wednesday morning will bring wind chill values around zero degrees as actual air temperatures drop into the teens. Gusty winds will hold temperatures to around 20 Wednesday with wind chills even colder than that.
As we approach the weekend, things will change. From temperatures running 5-10 degrees below normal, we will head back to 5-10 degrees above normal. This will have us into the middle and upper 30s by early next week with a chance at pushing 40 by the middle of the week. As for precipitation chances, a weak disturbance passing to our south this weekend could bring some light snow on Saturday.
