Suspect at large after allegedly battering, threatening former coworker

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -- Police are searching for a 21-year-old woman who is accused of battering a former coworker near the east side of Madison Saturday afternoon.

Officers were sent to the home of a 19-year-old woman who reported she was attacked by a former coworker. The incident happened at 1601 Thierer Rd. at 2:05 p.m., according to Madison Police Chief Mike Koval's blog.

The victim also reported being sent threatening Facebook messages by the suspect. The suspect is at large, but probable cause exists for her arrest under charges of battery, disorderly conduct and threats to do injury or harm by means of computer messaging, according to the blog post.

Police are still investigating.
