Columbia County campground impacted by flooding

LODI, Wis. (WMTV) -- A campground in Columbia County is damaged and residences have been evacuated since flooding has hit the area.

Crystal Lake campground staff worked to move water from the area before the shoreline began to flood March 14. The campground is located at N550 Gannon Rd. in Lodi.

The Lodi Police Department and local Red Cross Chapter have assisted in finding residents shelter in the community. The Lodi Fire Department will be sending a truck to evacuate anyone that still needs transportation.

An electrician is on site and the campground has contacted Alliant Energy. The campground is shutting off power to supply homes M13-M35a. It is unknown what time the power will be turned back on.

The Town of Westpoint issued a disaster declaration on Friday at 5:00 a.m. The town has contacted FEMA and requested emergency funding.
