Two men were arrested after an armed robbery on the west side of Madison on Friday, June 1st.
Two 20-year-old men approached three men and one woman — also in their 20's, displayed a handgun and took $180 near Flower Lane and Gammond Road at 4:25 p.m. according to the Madison Police Department.
The four victims were from out of town and met a stranger at the Mobil on Whitney Way on Thursday night. The stranger showed them his handgun prior to the individuals giving him a ride to Flower Lane.
The individuals drove to Madison again on Friday because the 20-year-old stranger needed another ride, according to the Madison Police Department.
Officers located a vehicle that came back to a Gammon Road address and made contact with the suspect's grandmother. The officers then located and detained the suspects.
The suspects, Eric Morgan, age 19, and Jarreon Cunningham, age 19, both from Madison were arrested for armed robbery.
They are currently being interviewed by detectives and the investigation is continuing.
