Two people in Portage busted in drug raid

PORTAGE, Wis. (WMTV) - Police in Portage arrested two people in a large drug bust last Friday. Police say at 3 p.m. on June 14th, they executed a search warrant at a home on the 300 block of E. Cook St. Police say they found a large amount of marijuana, suspected MDMA (ecstasy) pills, THC oil, scales, other drug paraphernalia and two loaded handguns.

37-year-old Christopher Denman Sr. and 43-year-old Lisa Lukaszewicz were arrested on several felony charges including possession with intent to deliver marijuana, maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of MDMA, child neglect, felon in possession of a firearm, felony bail jumping and misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 17-year-old boy was ordered into court on a drug-related possession charges and released to a parent.

Both Denman and Lukaszewicz are expected to make an initial appearance at the Columbia County Courthouse early this week.
