Travelers across Dane County will soon have non-stop access to Southern California – and as early as next Spring.
United Airlines will start running daily flights to Los Angeles from Dane County Regional Airport in March 2019. The flights will leave every day at around 3:30 p.m. Tickets for these March flights are on sale now.
Los Angeles is the 19th city with non-stop service from Dane County.
Dane County Executive Joe Parisi said this will help people traveling for both business and leisure.
"Los Angeles, it’s a gateway to virtually everywhere else someone would want to go heading in that direction and this, combined with our non-stop service to San Francisco, now really opens up that end of the country," Parisi said. "There’s a lot of business travel back and forth and we have a lot of businesses in Dane County and in the region who need an efficient way to get to California."
