MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -- President Donald Trump gave his second State of the Union address on Tuesday, touching on a number of topics and calling for bipartisanship as the government shutdown deadline looms.

Meanwhile, state lawmakers are at odds over tax cut proposals.

NBC15’s Leigh Mills sat down with two political analysts to review the key takeaways of the State of the Union, and review tax ideas on both sides of the aisle.

Analiese Eicher, the new Executive Director of One Wisconsin Now, and Bill McCoshen, Managing Partner of Capitol Consultants stopped by NBC15 News at 5 for “Unspun.”
