Verona man accused of selling drugs from his home and business

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)---A Verona man was arrested on Thursday morning in connection to a drug investigation.
According to the Madison Police Department, The Dane County Narcotics Task Force executed two search warrants. One was for Madison Bazaar on S. Park Street, and the other was for a home in Verona where the business owner lives.
55-year-old Suhail S. Syed was arrested for four counts of delivery of synthetic cannabinoids. He also could face a charge for maintaining a drug dwelling.
Police said over nine pounds of synthetic marijuana known as “spice” were seized as well as a smaller amount of cocaine.
The Verona Police Department, the DEA, the IRS, the State of Wisconsin Department of Revenue agents assisted the Dane County Narcotics Task Force.
