Volunteers needed to help Town of Rutland veteran with landscaping

If you're up for spending some time outside Saturday, the Stoughton VFW Post #328 could use your help with the landscaping of Army Staff Sergeant Russell Dennison's future custom home.

is hosting the event. It's a national nonprofit building and donating specially adapted homes for the nation's most severely injured post 9/11 veterans.

During his third deployment, Dennison was injured by an IED in Afghanistan and both legs needed to be amputated.

Volunteers are needed to help lay sod, plant flowers and bushes and spruce up the yard. Shuttles will leave from the Stoughton VFW Saturday morning to the Town of Rutland.
