Warm temperatures don't last long

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) Temperatures cracked the 60 degree mark in Madison officially for the first time of 2019. Unfortunately, much cooler conditions return for the end of the week and weekend. In fact, the next week looks to feature below normal conditions with highs widely into the upper 30s to lower 40s.

While calmer and drier conditions will start to settle in, flooding concerns will remain. It takes time for all this water to make it to area rivers and hence they rise even after the rain is done. Take it easy over the next few days as rivers will be running above flood stage.
