Out of all 50 states, Wisconsin has the dubious distinction of being listed as the worst for excessive drinking.

According to the United Health Foundation's annual rankings report, 24% of adults in Wisconsin engage in excessive drinking on a regular basis. By comparison, Utah has the fewest instances of excessive drinking, with 12.2%.

The report also states men, young adults and those with higher incomes are more likely to drink in excess compared to women, older adults and those with lower incomes.
