Wisconsin woman advances in the blind auditions of NBC'S The Voice

Universal City, Calif. (WMTV) Betsy Ade of Kenosha will work with John Legend as her coach during NBC's The Voice. She had two coaches turn their chairs for her during Tuesday's blind auditions, Legend and Adam Levine.

On Ade's Facebook page, it states she is a singer/songwriter from Kenosha and is the lead singer for the cello-infused rock band, 'The Well-Known Strangers." It also states she has won the Wisconsin Area Music Industry(WAMI) "Female Vocalist of the Year" in 2004
and Shepherd's Express "Female Vocalist of the Year" in 2017.

Season 16 premiered on Feb. 25. You can watch The Voice on Mondays and Tuesday on WMTV.
