Woman arrested in Janesville for 4th OWI offense

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) Janesville Police have arrested a woman for her 4th OWI after she gave officers a fake name.

Police say they stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. They noticed the driver had signs of impairment. She gave a false name to the officer and was taken into custody.

During the search of the vehicle, officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia. The driver was put through standard sobriety tests that confirmed her impairment.

A Department of Transportation records check showed the driver had 3 prior OWI arrests and is out on bond for OWI.

Jasmine M. Delap is being held at the Rock Co. Jail waiting for an initial appearance in court.
