· 1/3 cup brown sugar
· 1 large cinnamon stick
· 10 ounces fresh or frozen cranberries
· 1 tablespoon lemon juice
· 1/2 lemon, zested
Directions1. Bring sugar and ¾ cup water to simmer over medium heat. Stir in cinnamon, cranberries, lemon juice and zest. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes or until berries burst and sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
2. Remove cinnamon stick. Cook uncovered 1-2 minutes; remove from heat.
