1 Lb dried pasta such as macaroni
3 Tbsp butter
1 C shredded parmesan
½-¾ C half and half
1 Tbsp Tony Chachere’s Cajun Creole Seasoning
Salt for pasta water
DirectionsDirections: Fill a large pot with water, add a few generous pinches of salt
to water. Bring water to a boil, add pasta. Follow cooking instructions from
pasta manufacturer. Once cooked, pour pasta into a colander and drain
thoroughly. Put cooked pasta back into the pot. Add butter and stir until
melted. Add parmesan cheese and stir. Slowly pour in half and half and
stir to create the “sauce”. Finally, add Tony Chachere’s Creole Cajun
Seasoning to give it a little kick.
Tips: Make this recipe your own by adding more of the ingredients listed
above. You can even substitute heavy cream in place of the half and half,
add garlic, cooked sausage, veggies, etc.
