MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -- Badger Football Wide Receiver Danny Davis III will be playing on Saturday against BYU after sitting out for a two game suspension.
Badgers Head Coach Paul Chryst confirmed the information Monday. Davis was suspended for two games after being connected to the sexual assault investigation involving former teammate, Quintez Cephus.
Davis was listed in the criminal complaint of the alleged assault from April 2018. The document claims Davis took pictures of one of the women involved in the incident. He was not formally charged, but was suspended for violating the Badger Football Program's code of conduct.
Chryst said on April 22: " We have a high standard of conduct within our football program and we cannot accept behavior that is not consistent with that standard.”
Davis will return on Saturday to play BYU at Camp Randall. Kick off for the game is at 2:30 p.m.
