Madison man nominated for Packers FAN Hall of Fame

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WMTV)- A Madison man is one of ten finalists nominated to be inducted into the Packers FAN Hall of Fame.

Brent Perzentka, of Madison was nominated along with a 500 word essay explaining why he should be recognized and selected to the Packers FAN Hall of Fame.

Six other Wisconsin natives were also named to the list. Amy Nelson from Mayville, Li Hu from Oshkosh, Scott Cagle from Suamico, Steve Sexmith from Appleton, Charlie Younkle from Green Bay, and Ron Colbo from De Pere.

The Green Bay Packers established the FAN Hall of Fame in 1998. It was founded for the purpose of annually honoring a devoted and longtime Packer fan.

Beginning January 1, fans can read the finalists profiles and vote online by visiting the Packers website or by casting a paper ballot by visiting the guest services desk at Lambeau Field.

The honoree's selection will be announced in February and will receive four club seats to a 2019 Packers home game, a Packers Pro Shop gift certificate, a road trip for two to a 2019 Packers away game, and a one-year subscription to Packer Plus.

The honoree will also have their name added to the list of FAN Hall of Fame honorees recognized in the Packers Hall of Fame.

The voting deadline is midnight on January 31.
