McFarland boy to compete in MLB's Pitch, Hit and Run
Braylan Roder of McFarland is one of three participants that will compete in the MLB's Pitch, Hit and Run competition over the All-Star week.
Roder made it through the local competition in McFarland, the sectional competition in Whitewater and the MLB team championship at Miller Park. He was then selected to be one of three participants in the 11-12 year-old division.
"I'm so excited for the experience and just being able to go there," Roder said. "A lot of hard work, practicing and having fun while doing it."
Roder has earned an all-expense paid trip to MLB All-Star Week in Cleveland. Championship dates have not been set yet.
