Aaron Rodgers, Packers agree to 4-year extension

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers have agreed to a four-year contract extension, the team announced Wednesday.

ESPN is reporting the deal is a 4-year extension worth $134 million. The deal runs through 2023 when Rodgers will be 40 years old.

According to Adam Schefter with ESPN, Rodgers will receive $67 million by the end of the 2018 calendar year.

Rodgers is now the highest paid player in NFL history.
