Noles247 reports Hornibrook hasn't publicly announced his move and declined an interview with the outlet. Last month, Hornibrook announced he would transfer from Wisconsin after he graduates from business school in May. He took an official visit to FSU that spanned from Friday to Sunday.

The former Badger would provide immediate depth to a scarce position for the Noles, after Deondre Francois' departure left only James Blackman as a scholarship player for 2019.

As a redshirt junior this past season, Hornibrook threw for 1,532 yards, completing 59.5 percent of his passes (122-205) with 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in nine games.

Hornibroook, who started the last three seasons for the Badgers, has one year of eligibility remaining.

Hornibrook was 26-6 as the Badgers' starter. In nine games in 2018, Hornibrook completed 59.5 percent of his passes for 1,532 yards and 13 touchdowns with 11 interceptions.

He logged a career year in 2017, tossing for 2,644 yards, completing 62.3 percent of his passes (198-318) with 25 touchdowns and 15 interceptions.

Florida State did not sign a quarterback in the 2019 class.

Florida State is in desperate need of depth at quarterback, after Deondre Francois was kicked off the team in early February. The Seminoles opened spring practice this past week with two scholarship quarterbacks on the roster -- but only James Blackman is eligible to play for the 2019 season. Jordan Travis transferred in from Louisville but is awaiting to hear whether he will get a waiver for immediate eligibility.
