Which was colder: Wednesday, or the Ice Bowl?

The Ice Bowl was held on December 31st of 1967. To say the least, it was a cold day even for Green Bay. The Packers beating the Dallas Cowboys was already a big deal, but so was the weather.

When the game kicked off, it was -13 degrees and when it was over it had dropped to -18 with the wind chills reaching -36.

While that was the coldest game in the history of the NFL, the game was "warmer" than the past few days as wind chills dropped to -50 around the Madison area.

By the way, Bart Starr got frost bite that day.
