Wisconsin TE Zander Neuville to miss rest of season with knee injury

According to Wisconsin Head Coach Paul Chryst, Badgers Tight End Zander Neuville will miss the remainder of the season with a left knee injury.

According to Chryst, the red-shirt senior hurt himself during practice this week in preparation for the Badgers game against Nebraska Saturday.

"As a team you've got to be able to overcome that but you feel terrible for Z (Neuville) and him having to go through that," Chryst said Thursday. "It's missed opportunities that he was certainly looking forward to."

Neuville tore the ACL in his right knee during the regular season finale last year against Minnesota. He caught 10 receptions for 84 yards and two touchdowns in his career with the Badgers and was a key attribution in their rushing attack.
