2 out-of-state men injured after being attacked in downtown Madison

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)-- Two out-of-state men visiting friends in Madison were jumped early Sunday morning in downtown Madison

According to Madison police, the two men, a 32-year-old from Saint Paul, Minnesota and a 33-year-old from Chicago, were attacked by two strangers on the 200 block of West Gorham Street around 2 a.m. Sunday.

The 32-year-old had several facial injuries including broken bones and a cut requiring stitches. He also had a broken kneecap and a collar bone injury.

According to the Madison Police Department, the two men accused of attacking the victims took off in a black, mid-1990's Mercedes-Benz.
