Judge sets $150K cash bond for Visions Night Club shooting suspect

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – A man arrested in connection to a shooting that injured four people inside a Madison night club is being held on a $150,000 cash bond.

According to court records, 35-year-old Cole Foster made an appearance in Dane County court on Tuesday afternoon. A judge also said Foster shall not be at Visions Night Club and shall not possess any type of dangerous weapon.

Joel Despain, a spokesperson with the Madison Police Department, said Foster was arrested for first degree reckless endangering safety after a fight at Visions Night Club left five people injured on Sunday. The fifth victim was stabbed.

Despain said Foster was a patron at the nightclub and is believed to have fired the gun inside.

All of the gunshot victims are currently in stable condition. The victims are a 42-year-old Chicago man, a 46-year-old Madison man a 35-year-old Oregon man, and a 31-year-old Milwaukee woman. All were patrons expect for the 46-year-old Madison man. He was an employee.

Detectives are still interviewing witnesses and have not determined what caused the disturbance.

If Foster remains in custody, his initial appearance will be on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
