MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -- Families got to enjoy a scavenger hunt at UW-Madison's Alumni Park on Saturday.

At UW-Madison's Science Expeditions Campus open house, there were guided tours of the park where people learned about UW science alumni and their discoveries.

"We are welcoming the community in to discover all the great work the UW does in science and we have alumni park that showcases the work of alumni," Mary Carbine, Managing Director of Alumni Park, said.

Alumni Park, which is next to Memorial Union Terrace on Lake Mendota opened in the fall of 2017 and is open all year to explore. It features the work of 123 different alumni.
