4 years later: Candlelight vigil, march to remember Tony Robinson

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)--- It’s been four years since a Madison man was killed in a high-profile police shooting.

A candlelight vigil and march will be held on Wednesday night to honor his memory. The candlelight vigil and and march will begin at 6 p.m. at the Social Justice Center on Williamson Street.

Tony Robinson was shot and killed by Madison Police Officer Matt Kenny in 2015.

The police department and the Dane County District Attorney determined the officer was following protocol, and he was not criminally charged.

The decision sparked protests in Madison.
