Kayakers rescued in Rock County

ROCK COUNTY, Wis. (WMTV) - Two men were rescued from Badfish Creek on Wednesday after their kayak tipped into the water, according to the Rock County Sheriff's Office.

Around 4:30 p.m., Rock County Sheriff's Office got the call about the 70 and 66-year-old men. The 66-year-old tipped and wasn't able to get back on his kayak or get to shore.

According to a press release, the 66-year-old man's body temperature dropped to dangerous levels and life saving measures were used by first responders.

The man was taken to Mercy Hospital and was placed in critical care.
