Kenosha native impresses judges on 'The Voice'

Betsy Ade is from Kenosha and is excited to be on the hit NBC show, "The Voice."

WISCONSIN (WMTV) -- Wisconsin has a new native to cheer for on NBC's, "The Voice." Betsy Ade, from Kenosha, was picked up by John Legend to be apart of his team.

Ade is a singer/songwriter, and has been the lead singer for the cello-infused rock band the Well-Known Strangers.

According to Ade's Facebook bio, she is a proud member of the LGBTQ community. Ade is passionate about cancer research, after losing her mother to Hodgkin’s disease when she was just 9 years old.
