TOWN OF DUNN, Wis. (WMTV) - A 56-year-old woman was arrested and taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 51 in the town of Dunn Tuesday night.

The Dane County Sheriff’s Office says Doreen B. Larson, 56 of Stoughton, was driving down the highway just after 5 p.m. when she struck the rear of another car waiting to turn onto Exchange Street.

Larson’s GMC Acadia rolled onto the passenger’s side and the engine compartment sparked into flames.

Authorities were able to remove Larson from the vehicle and extinguish the flames. The vehicles were eventually dragged off the roadway.

Larson was arrested for an OWI, cited for inattentive driving and taken to the hospital. The driver of the other car was also taken to the hospital, with minor injuries.

The highway was closed for over an hour and a half because of the crash.
