MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -- The University of Wisconsin-Madison received two reports of possible drugging incidents on Nov. 9.

According to the University of Wisconsin-Madison Police Department, they occurred on the 200 block of Langdon Street. These incidents were also reported to the Madison Police Department.

A crime warning was send out to the campus community by UWPD Friday evening.

Police have provided suggestions that everyone should consider:

•Having someone consume legal or illegal drugs without their consent is a serious crime.
•Crime victims are never responsible for the behavior of perpetrators.
•Alcohol and drugs are often used to create vulnerability to crime. One way to protect yourself is to only drink from containers you open yourself.
•Be active in supporting a safe and respectful community. If you see others engaging in illegal, disrespectful or inappropriate actions, speak up and get involved, or contact someone else to assist.
•If you’re a bystander and see someone behaving in a way that seems dangerous, step in and do something about it. If you don’t feel comfortable or safe confronting them, call 911.
