Occupants of vehicle open fire on another vehicle in Sun Prairie

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) - Police are investigating after people in a car started shooting at another car in Sun Prairie Wednesday night.

According to the Sun Prairie Police Department, just after 6 p.m. officers in the area of West Main Street and O’Keeffe Avenue heard gunshots. After investigating, they determined that people inside of a car started shooting at another car as both were driving on West Main Street.

Officers have not been able to locate either vehicle, and so far have no reports of anyone injured or any gunfire damage.

The incident closed down West Main Street between O’Keeffe Avenue and US Highway 151 in Sun Prairie about an hour between 6 and 7 p.m.
