MADISON, Wis. (WMTV)-- The department store chain Von Maur will be opening its second Wisconsin location at West Towne Mall in Madison.
The store will move into the old location of the Boston Store according to a press release from CBL Properties.
"Von Maur will complement the wide range of upscale shopping options already available at West Towne including Coach, Pottery Barn, and Williams-Sonoma and position the property for continued growth,” said Stephen Lebovitz. Chief Executive Officer for CBL Properties.
“We are thrilled to continue growing our brand in Wisconsin at such an exceptional location like West Towne Mall,” said Jim von Maur, president of Von Maur. “After a couple of years scouting Wisconsin, we were finally able to successfully open our first location in the state, outside Milwaukee, a couple years ago, and the response from customers has been overwhelmingly positive. We are excited to build upon that momentum and introduce Madison area shoppers to our wide selection of brand name merchandise and signature Von Maur service, and we look forward to becoming the shopping destination of choice for years to come.”
Construction is set to begin in 202 with an opening date in 2021. The former Boston Store will be razed to make way for ground-up development.
