UPDATED: All-clear given after Mount Horeb High School bomb threat

UPDATED: Wednesday, October 28, 2015 -- 6:15 p.m.

MOUNT HOREB, Wis. -- The Dane County Sheriff's Department confirms the school has been given the all-clear after a bomb threat.

Investigators left the scene, after nothing suspicious was found.

School officials say belongings may be picked up in the morning after 8 a.m. Vehicles may be picked up at any time.


UPDATED: Wednesday, October 28, 2015 -- 5 p.m.

MOUNT HOREB, Wis. -- School superintendent Deb Klein sent an email to parents, saying the bomb threat was found in a high school bathroom after school had been dismissed.

The building was evacuated, and no one is allowed, as a bomb squad goes through to make sure it is safe.

Students who were at the high school at the time of the threat was found, were taken to the middle school.

MOUNT HOREB, Wis. -- Police and Sheriff's deputies are at Mount Horeb High School, investigating a bomb threat.

It was called in just before 4 p.m. Wednesday. The school is being evacuated.

Authorities aren't giving details about the threat right now.
