Press Release from the Rock County Sheriff's Office:

On Saturday April 7, 2012 at 2:18am, Deputies from the Rock County Sheriff’s Office along with Fire and EMS from the Village of Orfordville responded to a motorcycle versus deer traffic crash on W. STH 81 near S. Nelson Rd., in Avon Township.

The preliminary investigation shows that a 2000 Yamaha Motorcycle driven by Lyle Muszynski, 47 years old from Janesville, was westbound on W. STH 81 near S. Nelson Rd., when Muszynski hit a deer that was crossing the roadway. Muszynski was thrown from the motorcycle and landed in the westbound lane of traffic.
